I am in love with Kimi ni Todoke!

Don’t we just love December? Well I know I do. And it feels so much better when I’m watching Kimi ni Todoke. It’s probably the second anime series I loved perfectly just by watching the first 1 minute of the video. Why? It’s because the main female character happens to be the type of anime girls that I like the most. Finally, I have successfully watched something that goes well with my taste. Not to mention I only watch the first few minutes and I instantly knew that I’ll like it… no, not actually like but LOVE it.

Kuronuma Sawako also known as “Sadako” is a high school student whose only wish is to make friends with everyone. Unfortunately, all the students seemed more scared and rather unwelcoming. People get scared of her due to the rumors about her and the way people misunderstand her. Well, she does have problems on expressing herself well that people misunderstood her quickly. Even how she looks kind of reminds you of Sadako herself, from “The Ring” movie. But her personality is the total opposite of the horrific girl that you’re trying to imagine. Sawako is a shy, innocent and honest type of girl. Others who were staying away from her because of how she resemble “Sadako” might not only be the reason but because she tends to shy away from other people too. Fortunately, everything seemed to change when Sawako and Kazehaya Shota started to talk to each other.

Kazehaya Shota was the very first person who talked to her and was able to treat her nicely. Sawako was used being responded by people with “I’m sorry, it’s okay, etc.” and Kazehaya Shota was the only person who was able to say “Thank you” to her. Kazehaya is quite popular at their school; everyone liked him, whether be it a girl or a boy. He’s really friendly, outgoing and a laid-back type of guy, not to mention how cute he really is that all girls from their school formed an alliance called “Kazehaya is Everyone’s” to have a peaceful rivalry. Kazehaya was basically the reason who changed Sawako’s life. Because of him, he was able to open Sawako’s world to others.


It’s a funny and interesting story per se that you might really love it as much as I do. I love how Sawako doesn’t seem to understand how she feels about Kazehaya yet. She’s too ignorant or should I say too innocent to know about love, love that’s more than just a friend that is. Kazehaya on the other hand, obviously loves her too but he gets easily nervous and shy at her when it comes to this. They’re cute, aren’t they?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it once more, I am frigging in love with this anime! You will too, if you’ll give it a chance. I can finally watch a romantic comedy anime series without complaining how predictable the storyline is; because I know I’ll enjoy how each episode would lead to its end.

By the way, this anime series is still on going. The release date for the raw episode would be every Tuesday but you might as well wait after one or two days for it to be subbed. Well anyways, I’ll go back spazzing on how spazztistic each of its episodes are! I can’t wait for Tuesday to come.

It was a Happy Birthday after all.

Finally, my birthday has ended… happily of course. I was actually planning to sleep for the entire day on my birthday, jokingly telling my friends that I’ll wake up on the 13th of December. I woke up around 4PM or so cause my sister have to wake me up while I was gleefully dreaming about G-Dragon. What a good way to end my sensational dream, right? Well anyway, I got a call from my friends. Everyone greeted while asking me if I’ve prepared food for the party while I continue shooing them as I have prepared nothing for them to eat.

I wasn’t sure if they’ll come over to our house but I still I got up, took a shower, put on some clothes, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair and waited. So I literally prepared myself than of preparing foods, no? Unfortunately, we have nothing else to cook but rice. Hah! My mom arrived at home and brought us some foods to eat for dinner, but then she has to leave again to attend my cousin’s debut party. Since my mom isn’t the type of person to act sweet around us, she texted my brother and told him to greet me a happy birthday while saying sorry if we don’t have much foods to eat. But I was already thankful that she was able to buy us some foods while a simple greeting would be enough for me. I did plan to sleep for the entire 12th of December, didn’t I? Still, I love my mom and I love my siblings as well although I’m not the showy type of person, but I really do love them.

So where’s my father? Well he did text my brother, greeting me a happy birthday and saying how much he loves me. So I asked to myself, “Where is he again?” I almost forgot that we once had a father, a father who we used to love but was already hated today. The so called father who left us for his mistress, and yet he still can’t help but to continue on denying the truth while putting the blame on my mother who have been with us all the time through the ups and downs of our lives. So again, where is my father?

It was 9PM already and yet my friends haven’t arrived yet. Since my siblings and I are getting hungry already, we decided to start eating thinking that they won’t be coming over anymore. When we’re about to finish our foods, two of my friends, Dabby and Gail came greeted me and brought a cake for me. Surprised as I am, I was more than happy knowing that they’ll be here. A few minutes later, my best friend Ganessa came with her ex-lover Ken. Both of them happily greeted me and they brought me ice cream and a couple of alcoholic drinks. I told them to eat while I served them some foods to eat. My hungry and tired friends willingly ate the foods that I served for them.

While they were eating, I was teaching my younger siblings to play poker. I know, I’m such a good elder sister. After a while, the infamous lovers in Ordips have arrived – Chenee and Peter featuring their first "daughter" Lester. Then again, greeted me and brought another food and gave me a gift. All of my friends have gathered already and ended up playing poker with my younger siblings. We ate all the foods they brought while some of us are having our own photoshoots while the other are busy “gambling”, pretending they have money to gamble.

I wasn’t really expecting this on my birthday; I’ve only planned sleeping for the entire day but ended up awake until today. Sigh… I’m so blessed having a mother, siblings and friends like them, no? I don’t need gifts anymore, just by having them is more than enough. I am so blessed to have them in my life and I am very thankful to God for giving me such precious treasures. I love them very much!

To my only family who has been with me through thick and thin; thank you and I love you!

Today is Kawen-chan's and SeungRi's DAY!

Uh-huh! It's our Beerday already! We're getting old. I just turned 2 2 2 2 NE 1 now, while SeungRi just turned 19. Wow, just like their thriller drama 19, no? Haha! Well, I've always been celebrating a sad birthday every now and then, but I've already received advanced gifts - Hello fan cam and Dara's me2day update with G-Dragon calling him Oppa!

I hope I'll have a happy day today cause I don't want to write an entry of "Utterly Lonely Birthday" Part 2. Haha! Thank you for all those who have greeted me today, at 12 Midnight. Especially to the Applers, wait... they're the only one who greeted me. Haha! ~ ♥ I love you all!!

My PC is alive again!

Finally, my PC has resurrected from it's death. Although it's a bit sad that it has lost some of it's memories due to amnesia. My PC is dead again...

He-llo everyone.

I'm going to be on hiatus for now since my PC just died three days ago. There will be no updates from now until I get my PC back. I'm not sure when will my PC be resurrected again. I don't have any dates yet but I'm sure maybe this week, my PC will be back healthy again.

Just a reminder for my fellow APPLERS, please take care of our thread. I'm just checking it whenever I'm in a cafe. Always welcome new members and give them a friendly reminders about the rules. Brings back my childhood memories - Away from the faries

Way back when I was still young, way younger than now, anime had been really popular ever since Dragon ball Z and Sailormoon came out, not to mention Sentai series such as Ultraman, Fiveman, Jetman and anything that has man on it. Since then, Japanese entertainment caught my attention first making me love Japan generally. So I tried studying about them, about their culture, their language and everything about them. Note: I’m still a kid at that time, yes; I am that of an avid fan of Japan that a kid like me had a thought of doing a research about it. Funny thing is there are only few things that I could remember with those ‘research’ that I’ve done.

Aside from my interests in Japan and anime, I have my own interests in music as well. No, I am not born to be a singer though I wanted to be one but unfortunately, I have been entitled as a frustrated singer. Yes, that’s right. Our parents bought us a piano and the first time I saw it, I fell in love with it. I blissfully volunteered myself to learn how to play it and my parents, without more ado, looked for an endowed teacher for me, which they really did. Since I didn’t have the voice, at least I could express my love for music through piano. I was indeed passionate with my piano lessons. I’d always feel excited just thinking my private teacher would come in our house a few minutes later. I must say, everything went perfectly until my schedule for my piano lessons had been changed.

From that time, I had encountered a conflict with my schedules. Yes, I have schedules despite the fact that I’m still 7 years old. You know what was that particular schedule? It’s “my time-to-watch-Sailormoon” sched. Supposedly, after my piano lesson, my next schedule was to watch my most favorite anime series during my childhood years – Sailormoon. But then my piano lesson starts at the same time as Sailormoon’s broadcast time. I felt so depressed not able to watch it and can’t seem to re-arrange the schedule anymore. Since then, my blissful and exciting moments with my piano lessons have been slowly fading into its oblivion. It seems that my passion for music can’t seem to beat my passion for anime series. I must say, I was still young anyway. So I decided to quit my piano lessons and chose my anime marathon instead. Uh-huh, I have fallen by the wayside. Talking about giving up one’s dream, eh? I know I have regretted it after I got older.

After that, my eyes were set about anime all the time. I could almost live in my own room and seldom goes out as if I have my own little crazy world there just watching anime all day long since cable TV has a lot of channels broadcasting anime series or even anime movies / OVA. So much sticking my eyes at the TV staring nothing but beautiful anime characters, I have thought of a question and asked my father, “What exactly is anime? So my dad explained it, anime is a shortened word for animation for Japanese people, blah blah blah and then he mentioned the word drawing. Then after that, I looked for a pencil and a couple of bond papers but ended up having a pen and a few unused notebooks. Without any talents about arts or drawings in the first place, I started my self-training without any hesitation. Everyday I’d be staring at the TV screen while holding my pen and notebook and starts copying its form without blinking an eye. Through that, I have created yet another passion; it’s about drawings / arts this time. I became like a drawing machine every day. I am quite impressed myself, though I was still a kid, I was quite a perfectionist when it comes about my passion for something. When other thinks it’s already an awesome art, I’d always think it’s not enough so then, every day I’d always learn something new and I am able to improve my skills with drawing. But I’m not actually saying I’m an amazing artist or whatnot cause for all I know, I’m not that good at it not like what professionals are.

If Naruto has a lot of determination to be one of the greatest ninjas, I have a lot of determination to be one of the greatest artists as well. Well, at least I was like that before. People would always tell me, I was born to draw, that I have that kind of talent ever since I was born but for me, it’s not. It’s about passion and determination, talents can be taught/developed as long as these two things are present in you.

Nodame Cantabile - An inspiring series

It’s been a long time since I last watched an anime. A few days ago I decided to watch one. I just randomly chose one title and watched the first episode – Nodame Cantabile. I think anyone who doesn’t seem to be interested about ‘classical music’ would find it boring. The main characters such as Megumi Noda and Sinichi Chiaki are quite interesting themselves which captivated me to watch further episodes.

Both of them have a contrasting personality although both of them are extremely talented. Let’s start with Megumi Noda also known as Nodame. Despite the fact that she is a girl, don’t be deceived with it. She can be messier and be really disorganized than men. She rarely takes a bath and keeps on wearing the same clothes two to three days in a row. Aside from her sloppy image, she can be really greedy when it comes to food. At some point, she may steal your lunch box whenever it has delicious foods in it. Fortunately, her grotesqueness doesn’t make her unattractive overall. Despite all that, she has a very big heart. She’s very affectionate and true to herself especially for her feelings for Chiaki.

But she has a big problem to deal with and that’s not just about her sloppiness but it’s about her passion for piano. True that she’s an amazing pianist and can play perfectly the same piece after listening to the one’s playing it only once. She plays the piano by ear and not by reading the music score. Because of it, she plays it according to her mood that sometimes she skips a note or adds a note while playing. Aside from that, she plays piano half-heartedly.

Sinichi Chiaki is the complete opposite of Nodame. He is a perfectionist that he may seem to have an obsessive-compulsive disorder. He’s very clean and organized, smart or should I say a genius. He’s very popular in their school that all women even some men falls in love with him. He is extremely talented in piano and violin but his real ambition is to become a conductor. Not only he’s a genius himself but what makes him even more popular is that he’s a very good looking man. He seems so perfect, don’t you think? He’s rich, handsome, smart, multi-lingual and talented and all that jazz. Who wouldn’t want to have him?

Unfortunately, he can be really attractive with all of these but one thing that makes him less attractive is being too arrogant and cocky. Just like Nodame, he also got a big problem for himself. As much as he wanted to study abroad to be one of the greatest conductor in the world, he just can’t because of his childhood phobia.

These two accidentally met and later on develop a romantic comedy drama. It’s really a fun series. I wasn’t able to sleep that day when I first watched it because I finished watching the full episodes. I’m sure you’ll have fun watching it too and I’ll make no bones about it. One thing that I'm a bit disappointed of is, too little romance. I wanted them to be really sweet and romantic sometimes. Overall, it's an excellent series.

I'm still not over about this, I'll soon watch the season two and the Japanese Drama of it. It'll be another non-stop marathon of Nodame Cantabile!

Kawen-chan is having some problems!

He-llo guys!

Apparently my PC is still sick and I'm still using our very old PC. I've no choice until my PC gets cured. Right now, I'm not only having some problems with the current PC that I'm using but also got some issues regarding my ISP. I could not access almost all the sites that I frequently visit; i.e. YGL, soompi, allkpop, blogspot, wordpress, me2day, etc. It's really depressing and I'm really frustrated about this. I could not update on time. I just wanted my PC back. T T

I want to update so much but then this PC and this ISP issues are hindrances to me. I miss my blog and everyone. I could access every sites right now but I know this wouldn't last long, I just hope things would get fixed soon. :(
