2NE1 Debuts in Japan

Feb 11, 2010

Korean girl group 2NE1 made its Japanese debut in front of 24,000 fans who gathered for Big Bang’s concert in Japan. The four-member group took part in the sold-out Big Bang concerts, which took place at the Yokohama Arena in Japan on February 10th and 11th. 2NE1 belongs to the same agency as Big Bang.

Appearing as a special guest at the concerts, 2NE1 sang their hits, “I Don’t’ Care” and “Fire,” wowing the Japanese audience. The girls said that they were just glad to wrap up their appearances at the concerts successfully and hoped to have made an impression on the Japanese audience. 2NE1 had only two concerts to impress Japanese fans before returning to Korea. They were sorry that they could no longer join Big Bang on their Japanese tour concerts, because of their prior engagements. Meanwhile, 2NE1 has released a new digital single titled “Follow Me” on February 9th.

It's nice to know that our girls are loved by many in Japan too. I guess there's a higher possibility for them to be successful in Japan when they start to promote there soon. But as of now, let them promote in their motherland for all the KBlackjacks or even the international Blackjacks have been very deprived for so long. So please come back with your full album very soon, ne?

My Monthly Quote

It's pointless to just envy other people's worlds.
I have to change my world myself.
