Poor MJ having trouble with her headset at the beginning and then CL tried to help her with it. Such a sweet and hospitable leadah~ I love CL even more. Honestly, when I saw that our magnae MJ was having trouble picking up her headset cause of the cable twisted in its stand, my heart was pounding that the performance would turn into a mess but good thing CL helped and they started the song smoothly. I guess the two unnies (Bom and Dara) we're quite busy performing and they weren't being too attentive at their magnae MJ asking for some help.

I love how these girls are so full of energy! I don't know why but every time they perform, they seemed to have stored huge amount of energy from them and then burst it when performing. Not to mention their "I Don't Care" practice at their studio aired at 2NE1 TV's last episode. They were seemingly tired but still they were able to pull off that stress and went crazily hyper. I hope they'll be still as energetic as they are now for future performances. They did really well today. Congratulations 2NE1.

2NE1 @ MayBee's radio (July 16, 2009) In the club LIVE

With such a surprise I was in pure amazement while i started watching the live performance of their song "In the club." MJ and CL started it smoothly and then Dara's turn was like "OH MY GOD ... " I wasn't really expecting that Dara could sing high notes in live. That left me speechless for a while. Bom kind of messed up with the lyric or her tone a bit around 1:30, or was it just me? Dara sometimes gets rumbled with her notes that you could hear it somewhat off the tune (I guess, being flat at some point), but it won't be that noticeable.

CL and MJ are great as always and as I have said before, these girls just keep on getting better and better. The song choice was perfect and they performed it really well and kudos to Dara for surprising us with her unexpected capabilities with high notes, although it's not as an impressive vocals you could hear but she has done pretty well this time around, the fact that she has the weakest vocal from the group but on second thought, I think the word "weak" would soon diminish from her description.

2NE1 just keep on improving.

Actually, the MV wasn't changed, it's just the lyric. I could say, it is somewhat true though about the descriptions from their characters but hey, lets just have fun and not get to serious with everything, ne? 2NE1 I Don't Care @ SBS Inkigayo July 12, 2009

I thought they’d only perform at Music Bank but knowing they performed at SBS Inkigayo today is an additional bliss for me. Hooray for more 2NE1 performances! Firstly, I find their stage design to be really cute to look at since it seemingly goes well to the style that they were having on that performance. The candy colors blended well with their sweet stage presence. Once again, they used one of their outfits from their MV. It was a great choice that their hairstyle was still the same as what they had at the Music Bank performance last July 10th especially with CL and Dara though with exceptions with Bom since I think her hairstyle changed here. I can see some curls and I can say, it looks better than having a straight one. I see some new choreography as well, and I’m getting more excited with their other performances soon.

The intro started out with their acting scenes and for the overall best facial expression and acting skills goes to Dara once again. Notice how the camera keeps on focusing her even until their interview after their performance. She really looks adorable and her facial expression at the end of the song was once again pawned us from her cuteness and dorkiness not to mention the part where CL was doing her “phone” hand gesture to Dara, that was adorkable as well.

I’d pick my two best outfits from them and it goes for CL and Bom. Bom looks like an adorable, sweet little girl wearing her shorts matching with a cute hairstyle while CL looks funky with her jumper suit and not to mention her cool hairstyle. Yes, I know some of you might disagree with me picking CL as having my favorite outfit of the day but as I could watch her wearing it, she knows how to carry that style. Her charisma just blows you away no matter what outfit she would wear, and it’ll still look good on her. But really, I love Minji’s jacket as well as her hair without gel. That way, she doesn’t look so messy with her hair throwing parts to different sides covering her cutie face.

Everyone had a lively performance and they just keep getting better and better in their performances. Their vocals were strong and they never worn out of smiles it’s as if their face were programmed to be that way for the whole performance and as we could see, they were really enjoying their performance there. CL still knows how to manipulate their audiences to sing with them. HECK! The audiences were really crazy over them. They were so lively as much as the girls were. It’s always good to hear the crowd sing with the girls. The main key from this performance is that you can clearly see that they were totally having fun and enjoying their performance. One thing for sure, Dara’s vocals are way improving now. Previous performances from their debut, you could hardly hear her voice and could only listen mostly of the backtrack but this time for sure, clearly and moderately, we can hear her sweet voice improving quite rapidly. Kudos to her!

It’s not only Dara that keeps on improving from the group but EVERY ONE of them does. Exerting more efforts and giving their best to their practices and performances is impressive. Keep on growing and improving 2NE1!

2NE1 @ Music Bank July 10, 2009: I Don't Care & Pretty Boy

Waking up in the morning and first thing to do was watching 2NE1's live performance of “I don’t care” and “Pretty boy” from Music Bank made me had a confusion whether I was still on my pipe dream or was I fully awake. I was NOT expecting such a great performance from them. They all even look so stunning that I had to pause the video to get a better glimpse of them. More surprise to CL having her hair down like that, I was really astonished with her beauty. Secondary would be Dara where her hair wasn’t pulled up so tightly, instead she had her hair down as well with curly bangs on the side. She looked pretty and adorable with that.

They’re outfits was a BLAST! Black and white colors, though plain just brings more attractiveness with them and it really suits their style. It’s the same with their previous performance where they had a change of their style; their concept there was also black and white. That was performed last June 28, 2009. I’m not sure where exactly the venue was, but I think they received their 2nd mutizen award there. Anyways, I loved their outfits in their performance. They don’t have to look flamboyant with their clothes and look so colorful just to look attractive so that they could catch people’s attention. It has simple colors yet has striking styles.

CL is definitely born to be a PERFORMER! She could just set the mood of the crowd and bring it all in. She knows how to use the stage and plays with her performance. Everyone did so well that I almost forgot they were performing LIVE! Kudos to Bom, she really had a very lively performance here. I was kind of scared that she might actually be ominous again but she proved me wrong. She really had fun singing the entire song. They were all enjoying it. Although there was a backtrack song being played and that you couldn’t hear much of their voices, they all seemed to performed it really well and it does look very convincing to me. But I was quite disappointed with the crowd, they didn't seem to clap when CL was singing the part "now clap your hands to this one" and then 2NE1 started clapping. I couldn't hear the audience clapping though or maybe I just couldn't hear it. It was my awaited part of the concert yet the crowd just failed my expectation. Maybe they were just too astonished to clap there? LOL. The girls had a very strong aura that they just owned the stage especially with their performance of “Pretty Boy.”

Live performance of “Pretty Boy” owned me! The choreography was great and the dance steps where just so smexy and cool. Fierce baby! I can see a lot of waves from there and I was surprised with Dara’s wave too. It was like *_________* pretty smooth! I didn’t see that one coming from her. I had to pause the video when the male dancers appeared and started sitting on their chairs because I was trying to focus on Dara’s pair, for a sec I thought it was GD oppa since his hair was kind of long like GD. Then again I was wrong. LOL.

I’m so hoping to watch the full performance of that song, it was quite sad that they performed it only in a minute. It was still awesome though, having their first 1 minute preview on live. LOL. That performance was really jaw dropping that I saw a lot of surprises from it especially with Dara. I am anticipating again; these girls just always get my blood rise that I felt like I’m alive once again. They just couldn’t fail to impress me with every performance they do. I’ll kill them for giving me ugly goose bumps every time. LOL. I love them so much that they just proved to me that I could be a fan girl myself. HAH! I have never liked a girl band before and 2NE1 just broke the record for being the very first and the only girl band I HAVE EVER IDOLIZED TO THE POINT THAT I KEEP ON STALKING THEM FROM FORUM TO FORUM. LMAO!

KUDOS to you YG! If Sw.IT failed you before, I ASSURE you that 2NE1 will give you BIGGER SUCCESS! BIG TIME daddy! Oh well, I am so overwhelmed right now that I keep on repeating their videos and stare blankly having goose bumps appearing constantly. *________*

I have finished watching Shinee, 2PM and SNSD's live performances at Music Bank as well and I have noticed something from the crowd. Comparing from the other group's performances, when 2NE1 started their performances, the crowd became LIVELIER! I'm not being biased here with 2NE1, it's just that I have noticed that the audience are LOUDER the time 2NE1 performed and the fact that they SANG ALONG with the girls. I felt so proud noticing this and I thought I got disappointed with the crowd. I take back what I said with my review a while ago. LOL.

2NE1-I Don't Care MV: expectations failed but I still love it

Yes, for how many days I have been anticipating for the MV of “I Don’t Care” to be released and it's finally here. I could definitely say, the cinematography is very impressive, the settings, their outfits, the girls themselves look so gorgeous and striking emotions and expressions especially Dara and Minji projected perfectly. Sadly, I was not that ‘impressed’ compared with the release of their first MV “Fire”. But I’m not saying that I didn’t like it, in fact, I loved it. Maybe I was just expecting too much from it that it failed to match my expectations. To that, it didn’t give that much impact for me compared with their “Fire” MV.

I’ve got to say, I am very much loving Minji and Dara here. Both of them seemed to have more exposure compare to CL and especially Bom. As usual, our dorky Dara remained as dorky as she is from this video. I could see a lot of her real personality being expressed there such as her ‘can’t live without my favorite thing in the world’ – her microphone. In which from the MV, she uses a blush on brush as a substitute of her microphone. There were so many dorky expressions she has done from the MV and she still never failed to make me smile especially the clapping part where she was clapping her chin instead. I think Dara’s acting skills are really improving.

CL is the bad ass girl. Her rapping totally owned the MV. I loved the part where she was saying “bad girl” while giving a punch to the camera. It was really cool, very nice poise and charisma. I could really feel her being very fierce. CL is totally feeling her actions thus giving fiercer attitude to their song. Bom’s vocals here were really fascinating. Although she could hardly be exposed to the MV, she could still stand out with her looks being the most gorgeous of the group.

I could say their dance steps or choreography wasn’t that good as I was expecting. (I was really expecting too much from this MV) Honestly, I didn’t like some of their dance steps and I’m not saying entirely but I’m hoping to see them perform this on live, maybe it’ll look better when performed live anyway, I’ll be able to see the full choreography and even a couple of new steps/choreography as well.

I’ve also noticed something, it's kind of hard to focus on the MV with all the constant switching of the scenes or settings. Like I’d like to see them more on that part then suddenly the scene changes right before you wanted to focus on it. Kind of make my eyes hurt sometimes and give me headache watching it. I can say the MV’s production was a bit rushed. It didn’t turn out to be that excellent but it is still a great MV though. I still love it although the dance choreography is a bit weak, but their ‘acting’ or expressions were very strong. I can see attitude there.

Anyway, congratulations for the girls to have successfully released their 1st Mini Album and their 2nd MV entitled “I don’t care.” Let’s keep on supporting 2NE1. BTW, my expectation from this MV failed due to expecting too much excellency. I know they could do better. :)
